At Kanya Maha Vidyalaya-the Heritage and Autonomous Institution, Jalandhar honoring quality work is a time-bound tradition. Carrying it forward a programme titled Abhinandan-Abhar was organized by the faculty and students of KMV. The students organized a cultural programme to entertain the support staff which included Bus drivers, conductors, peons, sweepers, security officers, gate-keepers and labour-class. They expressed their thankfulness through speeches, poems and dances. Many entertaining games were also played by the support-staff also who attended the function. It was a delight to watch them feel proud, included and appreciated in their work environment. Principal Prof. Atima Sharma Dwivedi obsessed that the role of the Support-staff was as important as that of any-other kind of work in the college and that they were imperative to the working of the institution.
