The department of History Kanya Maha Vidyalaya- the Autonomous and Heritage Institution, Jalandhar organized a lecture for students appearing in final exams on the topic How to overcome stress during exams. Dr. Radhika, Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychology (KMV) in a very lucid language discussed various methods to overcome exam stress. She explained that students must understand the reasons behind the heightened anxiety during exams. She suggested ten easy ways to overcome stress. She said stress on listening to music, quick walk, planning study routine, to stay away from distractions and remain happy throughout. She also played mind games with students, a technique which helps in memory enhancement. Principal Prof. Atima Sharma Dwivedi lauded the efforts of Department and stated that stress in natural but students should be made aware of methods and ways to overcome stress during exams. She suggested that lectures on such topics are a must for students. She congratulated Dr. Gurjot Kaur Head Department of History, Dr. Monica, Mrs Neenu and Ms. Rupinder for such a thought provoking lecture.
