KMVites become National Champions Win Laurels & Gold for Punjab State

Kanya Maha Vidyalaya, the Heritage and Autonomous Institution, Jalandhar Woodball Players have exhibited immense excellence by winning Gold medal in National Schools Championship in under 17 years group held at Ferozpur. In under 19 years group also they were not far behind and bagged Silver medal. It is important to mention that total 14 states had taken part in this Championship. KMVites who were instrumental in this exemplary victory included Akshita (Captain), Jyoti, Kavita, Shivani, Sejal, Samiksha in under 17 years category and Anushka, Gita, Bhawna, Gurpreet & Gurwinder in under 19 years category. Principal Prof.(Dr.) Atima Sharma Dwivedi congratulated the victorious champs and the sports faculty comprising Mrs Ashoo Bajaj & Mr Davinder during an Honour Ceremony organised on their homecoming. Madam Principal welcomed the shining KMV sports stars with floral garlands. Trophies were also awarded to these achievers. She further maintained that players at KMV are provided many facilities which include free education, hostel, mess & transport facilities. They avail a lot from state of the art infrastructure comprising Gymnasium, Health Club, Swimming Pool and sprawling play grounds. All these exceptional facilities elicit such excellent outcomes as the glorious success in this National Championship. She wished all the Champions a very bright and brilliant future and also averred that KMV will continue to support them in all their upcoming ventures. She also adumbrated that KMV will continue to provide these abilities to the students who continue to prove their mettle in sports arena.
