KMV'S Dr Ravi Khurana honored by the College Principal for his contribution to the field of Research

     

Kanya Maha Vidyalaya- the Heritage & Autonomous Institution, Jalandhar have always encouraged its faculty to become more research oriented and innovative in its approach. Keeping with the trend, Dr. Ravi Khurana from Department of Computer Science was honored by the College Principal Prof. (Dr.) Atima Sharma Dwivedi for his contribution to the field of research. Recently, Dr Arora has been awarded with the PhD degree from Punjabi University, Patiala. The topic of his PhD thesis was Development of Cloud Service Broker Framework for improving QoS of Cloud Service Providers. It is important to mention that Dr Khurana is a member of a team of UIET, Punjab University, Chandigarh who has been awarded a research project worth Rs 2.24 crore, related to the development of Monitoring and Surveillance Systems using UAVs. The project is sponsored by the Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology, Govt. of India. Principal Prof. (Dr.) Atima Sharma Dwivedi lauded the efforts of Dr Ravi Khurana for his ample contribution to the research and averred that KMV provides a very suitable ambience for the teachers to pursue their research oriented activities.
